粉蕾白花，沿枝条成簇开放，先花后叶。果实亮红色，果量大，挂果至秋末。新叶铜红色，夏叶深绿色，秋叶黄色。

Morning Sun Flowering Crab is clothed in stunning clusters of fragrant white flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive pink flower buds before the leaves. The fruits are showy red pomes carried in abundance from early to late fall. It has dark green foliage which emerges coppery-bronze in spring. The pointy leaves turn yellow in fall.
